Pre-schools make sense, it's worth it for their liability. My kid's

elementary school have allergy tables but allow peanuts for packers.

They don't really do those bring stuff to parties any more but I think that's not only because of allergies but those over achieving too much time on their hands soccer moms were already annoying enough for teachers. Allergies was just a good excuse.
