In her defense, we don't know how the question was worded


I've been around the media for a long time and you have to choose your words very carefully. I seriously doubt if she ever meant for it to appear in print the way it did and I doubt if she has had any training on how to address such questions. Sometimes being brutally honest is not the right way to answer a question. That's why media relations folks even exist.
