Perzackley. I returned my bi-focals to Costco for the same reason. Ended


up buying 2 sets of glasses, one for distance and one for closeup. Pain in the rear to have to change them depending on use, but at least I can see with either for the use intended. I once tried using a toroid contact lens. It worked great until it split. Never could get another replacement that worked as well. That all went out the door however when my right eye lost vision in the lower left quadrant. A form on Ischemia or ischemic optic neuropathy. So, I'm back to getting new glasses, one for close and one for near.
