True dat. But that also brings up an interesting theory...


With the smog that we had pre-catalytic converters, the earth's surface got shaded from the sun. Same could be said for the coal burning during the industrial revolution. Did the shading keep the earth from getting warmer at that time? In other words, were we getting warmer regardless of carbons in the air? I believe in global warning but I am not sold on why. Maybe it's just because the sun keeps shining on us.
