People cutting out fruit for keto are being stupid IMO.
I mean maybe if it’s really short term and their trying lower insulin levels but fruit is good for weight loss. I religiously eat 1 or 2 oranges a day. Fruit powerfully stimulates the liver, improves thyroid function and even raises metabolism as fruit has a thermo effect of raising body temperature.
I hate the no carbs ideal because fruit has gotten naively vilified, grains can be avoided without any adverse effect but fruits are great. I recommend navel oranges.
