That sounds similar to my intake when I was "on program"

My low days would be around 1,200, but generally I normally ate in the 1,500-1,800 range. My high days were around 2K. I took a close look at my carb intake, and did my best to supplement my protein intake. I stopped worrying about fat. My "low carb" diet ended up being ~ 1/3 carbs, 1/3 protein, and 1/3 fat (by grams).

I lost ~2.5 lbs/week with that diet, and wasn't hungry thanks to (IMHO) a sufficient fat intake. I could stick to that diet indefinitely.

I have no idea how anyone can stick to a "low fat" diet. I've done that before (lots of beans & rice), and I was always hungry. I couldn't go more than 2 hours between meals.
