Assuming Tesla went that route, then it is possible the heat


inside the car somehow changed the property of the glass. Maybe even made it stronger somehow and if that is combined with any potential flaws in the door (which will be decided in court), then the situation could have been very similar to the Apollo I Incident. I don't think the article did the greatest job of relaying all the facts. So the public will have to wait until the trial to hear the rest of the story.
