The implementation of social distancing is not a step function. While some


people have the ability to work from home, others do not. Some did not take the social distancing request seriously. In urban areas, people live close together, ride the subway together, etc. Within a household, it may take patient zero to infect the rest of the household.

So you may eliminate some of the super spreading, but any single person still has the ability to spread to multiple other people (not tens or hundreds, but certainly 2 or 3).
