I think the issue with high blood pressure is if you take ACE inhibitors to
treat it. They apparently make the virus worse. Same with diabetes meds. It's not just the conditions that put you more at risk but also what you take to keep them under control. I had elevated blood pressure at a med exam last year. They put me on a diuretic rather than an ACE inhibitor. My readings now (I test my BP daily) are always below 120/80, usually in the 110/70 range area. They didn't want me on anything stronger than a diuretic to avoid side effects and because I'm not overweight and didn't have any other symptoms.
