What will be interesting is a year from now when studies have completed
Will there be any statistically significant trends in certain genetics or other identifiable traits that had a higher negative response to COVID-19. Or conversely, are there any groups who tested positive but had full recovery, or partial recovery with lingering issues?
Medicine is advanced enough now to provide those answers. But they need the data and time to analyze it first. And at that point, we can have truly beneficial protection. Because there is a shift happening now with new drug development towards personalized medicine that is adjusted for specific genetics.
