It's absolutely hypocritical...but I know that's hard to be self aware of. I can point out your hypocrisy in just the Kap situation itself. You take Kap at his word that his intent wasn't to offend or disrespect the flag (do you know him personally?)...yet at the same time you assign a belief (based on your "smell test"...ie...you're own biases) that those that are offended have ulterior motives (are they racist?). That's my point that you illustrated yourself beautifully. And that's fine...I just wish people would admit to it and own up to it.
