In NC, each positive is counted as a separate case.

So it’s garbage in and garbage out for numbers when it come to positive cases. I also feel they should differentiate between pure COVID hospitalizations/deaths from underlying condition/COVID hospitalization/deaths. The two should be treated as completely different data sets. There are always outliers and the asymptomatics, but if you are in poor health, COVID will be more serious for you than a person in good to excellent health. This has been the basis of the argument to open it up, protect the people in the poor health, and push through.
