Hospitals are run by administrators, not doctors

Doctors work for the administrators. Ever notice how many private doctor practices have been bought up by hospitals? Set up the docs with a comfy retirement package. Just a few minor "administrative " changes in the office. Like funneling lots and lots of lab work and procedures to the mother ship. Another huge problem is nobody can tell you what something costs. When market forces are not affected by gravity there will be shenanigans afoot. The insurance companies don't care, as long as they're getting their take. I pay $1300 a month.
