is what the big box stores use. There could be a very good glass recycling as there was when I was a kid. Deposit on bottle and get it back when returned. Let beverage people use recycled bottles (actually outlawed in Virginia!). Problem with plastic is the 10 different kinds can't be used together. If we fixed the bottle recycling we could go back to glass bottles on liquids. It's fixable, but not for free which is what Americans want.
