From the very beginning, I simply asked for access to the ballpark - last week at Kennesaw State, I sat in the stands and was very, very happy (but cold). I just need a spot to sit and keep my scorebook.

Clemson would not even entertain that idea - they have too many season ticket holders that aren't able to attend, so I potentially would be taking a paying customer's spot. From their perspective, it was the press box or nothing. Thankfully, the media request were such that I was able to land a coveted spot. And it truly was a dream come true.

In the days of Covid, you can't get close to the players or coaches. Thankfully, Coach D'Amour has been gracious enough to text back and forth with me. However, I try to be respectful of his time, and no way was I going to bother him after yesterday's game.
