I remember my first couple of TSL softball articles

Back in the early/mid 2000s, the Angela Tincher era. They always got sent to Knoxville for regionals so I’d still get to see them and followed from afar. Can’t remember exactly how it happened but went through Chris and then to Will about some postseason previews. Did team preview, opponent capsules, etc. Since they kept advancing I got to keep writing them. Remember one time was told to scale it back because one of my previous ones was a “whopper” and too many words, lol.

Proud moment came when I said player X, somebody down the lineup needed to step up for us to win and advance. Player X had a hit or two, maybe an rbi and a big contributor to the win. I was on cloud 9 after that prediction, lol.
