Except that it is a single-dose vaccine so it it twice as 'efficient' ...
from that perspective. I think this is a massive over-reaction. If they want to pause it for women for a couple of days, fine but this is a little overly cautious. There are risks with vaccines and everyone knows it. Do you know how many potential causes there are for blood clots in women between 18 and 50? Statistically speaking, roughly 3.5 million women have likely had the J&J vaccine and 99.9998% of them have had no clotting issues. Add in J&J cases administered overseas and you would likely see an even smaller percentage of issues.
No vaccine is 100% without risk. I'll take 99.9998% every time and twice on Sundays.
