It is possible the ACC has already set a precedence when it decided

to make the deal with Notre Dame. Yes, I understand why people consider Notre Dame to be a "special case." However, for another blue blood (i.e. Texas), the school may believe it is just as "special" as Notre Dame or maybe even "more special" for various reasons. If you think about it, then you will see that Texas is "special" since it is the only school with a channel dedicated to its entire Athletic Department which is something that Notre Dame doesn't even have at this point in time. Given how much money Texas receives from it, I doubt they would be eager to give it up even if ESPN decides not to renew the contract when it expires. If ESPN did decide to not renew the contract, then it is likely Texas would probably have no problem finding a new deal with another network (Fox or CBS seems to be likely candidates) or continue operating the network alone.

The Notre Dame Deal may be good in some regards for the ACC, but it may also be bad in other regards. At least it is possible enough members within the ACC may not support renewing the same agreement with Notre Dame when everything expires in 2036. It is why I and others believe that a divorce is probably inevitable because the ACC already adopted similar characteristics, which are in addition to the Notre Dame Deal, the Big East had prior to its divorce.
