? Don't really understand the post. It's mainly public schools but the

majority of real talent comes from private school

In So Cal there are 6 private schools that have the sport and close to 125 public schools

Now if you want to say VT won't truly be competitive in the sport and it's a money drain I wouldn't stand in your way. VT has a very good coach, some solid players, a good rep, but location, location, tradition, & the fact that top players have their pick of the liter makes it a tough road for Tech

The womens game is basically, MD, & UNC for the title so the best of the best want to go there

The Stony Brook, JMU, & BC teams are fewer and far between
