It won't be easy getting to the top of the ACC.
There is a clear divide right now between UNC, BC, and Syracuse and the rest. Even with the year VT has had they have been competitive with other teams in the ACC. With a few key additions they can quickly climb to the middle of the ACC. Being middle of the pack in this conference could mean a top 10 ranking in the country. Get to the tournament and you never know what can happen. Look at what JMU did several years ago shocking BC in the final. VT needs to get over the JMU hump, but JMU is not leaps and bounds ahead of VT. I think #1 on their list needs to be a strong draw specialist. Would be great to have Kayla Frank back. Sounds like from other posts VT has a 5 star goalie coming from the class of 2022. This will be a big help. It's hard to use this year of all years as a barometer for the teams future success.
