Any Loungers have experience with a family member on a feeding tube?

My Dad had a stroke a couple of months ago at age 87. He lost the ability to swallow...and after several weeks of work with a speech therapist...it's not coming back. He's been on a feeding tube since January.

My first experience with this...and I confess I naively thought that a feeding tube could provide all the needed nutrition to sustain life long term. I am now learning differently...and I'm also learning that there is an overwhelming amount of information online about this. And lots of differing opinions.

Decided to post here...as real life experiences can often provide good insight and guidance.

Seems we may be looking at something between six months and a year.
