I'm not an HVAC tech, but my money's on the reversing valve.


I'm guessing the compressor is cycling on/off quickly because something's going with the reversing valve and it's not allowing refrigerant to flow properly, which is probably setting off a high pressure switch.

No way to know without getting a real technician to look into it, but that's my best remote diagnostic.
