A simple check is your drain pan


If your drain pan is full and hits the float switch, you could conceivably experience this.

As others have said, it could be the capacitor but could also be a contactor.

Otherwise I go with compressor.

If it’s not the float switch, I would call someone. These things are such nuances, you almost need to do it regularly to diagnose.
