Hypothetical, but still true in my opinion
"If Clemson and Florida State both elected to leave the ACC, complete turmoil would break out within the conference. Because of the loss of two schools, ESPN would have every right to renegotiate its contractual agreement with the ACC and could, in some respects, leave the conference for dead."
Add 4-5 more ACC schools to the list going with Clemson and FSU to the SEC, then does ESPN carry over the ACC money to the new SEC contract? If 6 or 7 schools are carrying essentially double the current per school payout, then they'd be adding to the per school SEC payout not taking away from it. That would make the money work for the SEC schools.
Add in a group leaving for the B1G and then there could be enough votes to dissolve the league and grant of rights with it.
