That's textbook extortion and likely a conspiracy charge as lagniappe.

Not to mention ESPN's obligation to act in the best interest of the ACC.

Big 12 already called that bluff in their July 28 C&D letter to Burke Magnus. Why do you think ESPN, TX and OU are suddenly in letter perfect compliance with the Big 12 Bylaws and ESPN is nowhere to be found in the discussion?

Besides, the money to be made by the SEC is in NC and VA. What we are hearing from Clemson and FSU is just the football bravado of their fanbase.
