From the paper, "The strength of evidence for ivermectin has this week been supercharged by publication of a gold standard review of 24 randomised trials conducted in 15 countries among more than 3400 people worldwide proving infections fall and deaths are dramatically reduced when ivermectin is administered. Published in the American Journal of Therapeutics the most rigorous statistical standards were applied by world-leading researchers biostatistician Mr Andrew Bryant and medical doctor and researcher Dr. Tess Lawrie."

My position is not one that everyone should be taking ivermectin, but I do think if you, your spouse, kids, parents, grandparents, friends do get ill with COVID, it is advisable to seek early treatment and ivermectin has quite a bit of positive evidence behind it and it has a long safety profile having been prescribed to millions of people across the globe prior to COVID. Unfortunately many doctors are still using the, stay at home and call me or go to the hospital if you get worse which I find reprehensible. So I recommend finding doctors that are using and can cite evidence on what they are doing that is working. And, it doesn't need to be a double blinded placebo clinical trial. Too expensive and take too long.

Doctors all over the world are working on treatments and have found various medicines that are working. They may not work 100% of the time, but what does on a any disease, yet alone a novel virus.
