That didn't matter

We had enough time to run four plays and couldn't get a first down. So running the plays slowly was a good decision.

I also don't mind running plays on the first two - two incompletions and the clock stops - again we don't need the time - and possibly limiting their time if we scored was a good thing.

Now, I would have changed which running plays were called. At least one of them should, IMHO, have been rolling BB so he could run in and score if open, stopping in bounds to keep clock running if they closed it down, or throwing it to a wide open guy and go ahead and score quick were all possible with that play choice.

Don't "sacrifice" plays. Go after the points, but if you don't get them make sure the next best thing happens.
