1. I too found it odd that it appeared we ran the same (or very similar) plays consecutively. The only thought I have is that they saw something the first time that they felt they could exploit if they ran it again. Or, there is more nuance to the plays than I can see and what "looked" like the same play was actually something quite different.

2. With regard to your notion that "your fourth down call better be creative adn leave a man wide open," is it your contention that that's easy to do? Is it your belief that any decent OC should be able to produce a wide open receiver in the endzone? That seems to be a pretty high bar. If that is indeed your bar, that's cool. But does that also mean you would never blame Justin Hamilton if his team gives up a TD on fourth and goal because, well, any good OC should be able to scheme a receiver to be wide open, regardless of what the D does?

Look, we were terrible inside the 10 yard line. I don't know how much was poor playcalling versus poor execution. The playcalling didn't seem good but that's easy to say when the plays don't work. Maybe they were bad calls, maybe the players didn't execute their assignments, or maybe both.
