I think it was both. Some play calls were uninspired and some worked but

we didn't execute. Like I said above... we ran at least three plays inside the 10 that resulted in a guy being open. Two on the drive before half and the 3rd down play on the last series. I haven't gone back and watched every play so there could be others. But that's at least three instances where the play call was certainly good enough but we just didn't make the play. But some fans don't want to admit there's more to things than simply "call better plays". I've said for years that for some people a "good" play call is the one that works and a "bad" play call is one that doesn't.
