In the postgame interview, Fuente admitted to choosing to burn clock..

He also mentioned this in the UNC post game as well, but for that game it was part of the entire gameplan (limit UNC's touches).

We're down 6, and our defense is playing lights out since late 2nd quarter. I'm confused to why we do not continue to be aggressive and score as quickly as possible. I've never been a fan of playing not to lose.
