in your current post on CAA future I believe to be accurate and probably a motivation to their behavior in terms of survival. You and @BAMRising both asked the right question about HOW JMU did not see this coming. I think the administrators had to see this coming, or at least to have considered the strong likelihood. It is not like Jeff Bourne has not been in Harrisonburg a long time and around the college athletics business even longer. Any claim they did not consider the likelihood I would find dubious and likely just self serving, at best, and outright naive and negligent, at worst.
