USC, ND and Michigan are "real" football programs that


have the resources, fan support, cockiness and alumni network to help foster programs that results in wins and championships. I was just stating the facts about UVa.....I am not saying that UVa. cannot be successful; I am just saying it cannot become a "real" football school as those schools you listed, because for a school that has never had sustained success or been competitive on a national level consistently, UVa would have to do things different than what they practice now to attract a larger pool of athletes; and that may come at the cost of making some sensitive compromises and bold decisions.
