It was a senior moment as I remember you posting that now. Looks to me that as usual with a lot of public entities VT provides information to comply but, very little context to interpret.

If that $8.1M represents multiple years then my level of alarm is raised, however, if that represents one year and the first scheduled payment due under the agreement that MIGHT mean something altogether different. Seems like I remember early discussions anticipating a first year payout of $5M which would mean actual exceeded projected fairly substantially. Also, with Comcast not coming on until late 2021/2022 it is not inconceivable subsequent payouts will be higher. I am not saying anywhere near enough to level the playing field but, still an increase. Without knowing the specifics of the agreement and payment schedules and other stipends it is difficult to say what the real outcomes might be, IMO.

I have said it before and will say it again now. I look forward to some news organization doing a deep dive into the ACC Network and separating fact and fiction so a better understanding of the entire history, agreement and responsibility/culpability might be exposed.
