NCAA Tournament payouts would not make up for UConn's football

According to David Teal, the ACC took in $302 million overall in 2013-14. The amount of that obtained from the NCAA Tournament is well under 10%. I don't have 2013-14 handy, but for 2014-15 it was around $17 million, and just over $20 million in 2015-2016. Even if UConn made the Final Four every year after they entered the ACC, the revenue would only marginally increase as a percentage of the entire revenue total the conference realizes.

I think the ACC needs to stand pat for awhile. UConn -- goldendomer 05/17/2016 5:32PM
