Went at the beginning of November 2 years ago - perfect time.

There's no such thing as "small" crowds at Disney, but it was tolerable.

We stayed at the Art of Animation resort- in a "Cars" themed room. That's on the lower end of the Disney resorts, but not quite the lowest. We had a "suite" which consisted of a room for the parents, and there was a pull-out sofa, and the dining table converted to a bed for the kids.

We definitely made good use of the meal plan - for lunch, dinner and snacks. Note that local grocery stores will deliver...we put our order in online a week before, and had the food waiting in our room - used for breakfast, mostly.

I didn't read a lot of the rest of the thread, so you may have gotten similar comments. Lastly - and I don't want to be negative...but I wouldn't go with kids that young. When we went, our kids were 10 and 8 - perfect. By coincidence, a friend of mine was there at the same time with 2 kids under 6. I was telling him all the things we did, and he said "I think your Disney experience is a lot better than mine."
