The only reason I mentioned it is because Clay mentioned

that ESPN at its current pace would have gone broke in 2021. Since ESPN asked to delay the launch of the ACCN until 2019 and requested the ACC extend its GoR, then that should have sent up red flags (maybe mini red flags) to the people within the ACC making the decisions. At the very least the ACC should have started the prep work to at least plan for the worst in hopes it never has to be implemented. In a way you could view it as the ACC's version of a "network emergency response plan."
