Clemson and maybe VT have 3 too

Clemson - NC State (Textile Bowl), GT, and FSU (The Former Bowden Bowl)

There may be some debate about whether Clemson-FSU is a must rivalry. Clemson fans would probably say "yes." While the rest of the ACC would probably say "no." Then again the rest of the ACC would probably say the same thing for most (maybe all) of these interstate must rivalries (i.e. UNC-UVA, VT-Da U, Clemson-GT, BC-Syracuse, etc).

The reason I said maybe about VT is because I am on the fence about GT. Also, if VT played L'ville more frequently, then I could see it becoming a must rivalry (call it Good Ole Fashion Metro Hate).

Regardless of what is a must rivalry or not, the cleanest way to establish the future conference schedule rotation is for everyone to have the same number of protected teams.
