This is kind of a point in favor of chuckvt

ODU and Liberty are the kind of schools that would be played only at home in the SEC. The SEC would not tolerate equal home-away scheduling against ODU. If you are playing six away games in the SEC, then all six of those are usually going to be against Big-5 schools, both in and out of conference.
