Read an article in SI way back when saying there was only one...


only one 300# player in 1970 and now there are high schools w/300# linemen.

I think that was, right, there was another (?) article comparing the '71 Dallas Cowboys to the legendary '54 Rams* on the same subject, that players had gotten so much bigger even then that they would have wiped that Ram's team easily.


* I'll take their word for the "legendary" '54 Rams.
