Except the conditioning today is much better.


In the 70s, players came to camp smoking cigarettes and out of shape. They needed camp to get ready to play and sometimes it was almost October before they were really primed. Today's players stay in shape year round. They show up for camp ready to run. Today's players would run circles around those guys.
