It was huge news when the hogs in '82 had like 3 300#ers


They were the biggest O-line the game had ever seen. Now.....meh...they'd be considered undersized and would get run over.

I think between the size and athleticism increases along with the speed of the spread game, a good college offense from today would move the ball at will on an defense from the 70s (though I suspect the college team would struggle dealing with the dirty crap the 70s players did :) ).

Not sure how the defenses of today would hold up, I think the skill level of pros vs college might overcome the physical differences in that matchup.
