I mean, do the math. If there are 2 x 10^11 galaxies (could be infinite, so this is a conservative estimate) each with 2 x 10^11 stars, that's 4 x 10^22 stars. Our little star has 8 planets and over 100 moons among them, 1 of which we KNOW has life and there are another 5 to 8 moons which may have (or had in the distant past) life living thereon. Again, let's be conservative and figure those stars may have 5 worlds which could potentially harbor life. Not saying they DO, but the potential is there. That's 2 x 10^23 planets or moons orbiting stars in this Universe with the potential to have life living there. If the Earth is only place where it's happened, I'll eat my shorts. Even if the odds are a trillion to one, that makes the Earth one of 200 billion life-sustaining planets in this Universe.

My sister, a God-loving Bible-dedicated Christian woman, asked me whether Gog created the Earth special. I said, "Sure He did. But how many Iron Man suits did Tony Stark create?" I saw a light bulb go off in her head. Creators create. They tinker. They ask, "what if?" Earth might be God's 400 millionth version of such a planet. Doesn't make it any less special, considering all the stars and planets and moons there are which could have life. This planet is still unique in this Solar System and is likely unique in this corner of the galaxy.
