Not sure how much a free market there is this year since the Islanders

are the only team looking for a new coach. Although maybe the Islanders are willing to pay top dollar to the next coach. I thought I remember hearing that 1 of his children was born with a disability. I guess it is possible he may be willing to take the next year off so he can spend more time with his family and see what openings there are for the 2019-2020 season (if he is not interested in coaching the Islanders).
