I'd generally agree, but I'm not sure for understanding tax code changes


particularly when politicians are trying to obfuscate the change.

At what point should people have known their refund would get smaller or turn into a debt? Do we really expect people with boring tax circumstances to look at the withholding tables and estimate their taxes to see if their refund is smaller than usual, when they've never needed to before, when the only thing they are hearing is "we cut your taxes"?

I just don't see a point where those people failed in an obtuse way. I do see a point where politicians lied.
