Eat smaller portions and less processed garbage, exercise more


I only see the value of Atkins/Keto/etc when you have a lot to lose and need a jump start. To be successful though long term you will need to transition to smaller portions, better food, more exercise as a lifestyle as it is nearly impossible to live Atkins/keto/etc in the real world.

In 2002 in my late 30s I went from 215 to 175 over 8 months using Atkins. At the end it became impossible to live like that and since I didn't transition to a more realistic lifestyle I put it all back on over the next 2 years. I now look back, staring at the idea of dropping 30 much needed pounds and wish.....
