Who are usually seeking some combination of power, land, or wealth. And there will always be some greedy people who are willing to have a conflict for their own self interests. So the possibility definitely still exists for my lifetime. I’d put it at 50% chances based on current climate (for a conventional war). I would argue we are already in a low level cyber world conflict.

I think the only reason a full war hasn’t happened yet is money. Look at Russia. For all the talk of country vs country, the people in power have learned that they get the most when they use the old conflicts as cover for legal and illegal money/power grabs.
