Problem is that 8250 isn’t just a check


cut to them. Unless they are an independent agent, the agency/broker takes a cut. Then they have to pay their marketing expenses, which are usually directly proportional to their success as an agent. Then taxes. That check is probably more like $5000 if they are fortunate to take that much home.
