I'll take you one step further. It should either be go regular or online..
I generally like compromise, but don't see how a compromise can work in this situation. If you do the proposed compromise I've seen in most of Virginia, you're not preventing the spread of COVID-19 and you're not creating a good learning environment.
In my opinion, you either go to school as regular and mitigate with the staff or you go back to everything online. If you pick going to school regularly, you at least are having a good learning environment, but COVID will spread.
If you go all online, you stop the spread of COVID at public schools, but you have a less than ideal learning environment and put working parents in a predicament of picking between their jobs, leaving kids alone unattended, etc. etc.
