I did - just responding to the 'spikes in cases' ...


Imagine if you stopped traffic on an interstate for a month. Speeding tickets would go to zero. Then you allow traffic on the interstate and you add more and more cops/radar guns on that same interstate over the course of three months. You would see a tremendous spike in speeding tickets even though driving habits likely wouldn't have changed at all.

I agree with much of your post and I expect we will see a continued decline in mortality rates if for no other reason than we got smart about nursing homes and hospice which were home to roughly 50% of deaths.
