Agree ... but to what end? The goal posts have been moved and there is no
'end game' to the current 'plan'. How long will restrictions be in place? We were all told 15 days to flatten the curve - turns out it took about 45 but we did, in fact, flatten the curve. We were told that when we opened up there would be in increase in cases and anyone who doesn't suck at math knew that would happen. We also know that our testing capacity has risen tenfold since March and continues to rise so that will also result in more positive cases. We were told there will be 'hotspots' and we would apply the lessons learned from NYC to ensure we don't have mass casualties - that is also being done. We have a few isolated areas with concerns around hospital beds but that is also being addressed at the state and local levels - there are absolutely ZERO areas in this Country right now that look anything like what we saw in Italy or NYC in March. So ... what is the goal now? Are restrictions in place until we get a vaccine now? That may never happen. Are we going to be told to wear masks forever now? I am happy to comply and be 'inconvenienced' but I would like to have an idea as to what the goal is now and what measurable data they plan to use to begin lifting the restrictions and no one is providing any of that.
